The Food Processing Research Institute of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences founded in March ,2004. With the strongly support from the leaders at all levels, our institute has developed rapidly and the strength of scientific research and competitiveness of the industry keep growing constantly. We’ve been concerned on taking the advantages of our province’s agricultural products of raw materials, taking the market demand as the direction, taking the services for the enterprises as the goal, taking the innovation ability construction as the core, taking the international cooperation as the important means, develops the application technology researches on variety of areas of agricultural products processing such as the theories, equipments, techniques, nutrition and the security, in order to provide scientific and technological support to our province. Moreover, our institute is responsible for the routine work of Heilongjiang Food and Nutrition Consultant Guidance Committee, provides the intellectual support and policy advisory guidance services for the food security and food processing of our entire province. During the past 6 years, our institute has been undertaken 50 projects ( the funds totally reached 26 millions ) . We have Food Processing Research Key Laboratory of Heilongjiang and developed more than 50 products in 5 series with soybean, rice, ginseng and edible fungi. We have developed successfully the first medium-sized Extruder in China. Also we have more than 50 academic journals published at all levels and 14 patents in application ( 9 was licensed ) .
